2019年9月7日(土）～2019年9月8日(日）の2日間、
「定禅寺ストリートジャズフェスティバル」が今年も開催されました。
仙台の「秋の訪れ」を告げる風物詩です。今年で実に＜２９回目＞の開催となりました！

仙台市民の間では「ジャズフェス」の愛称で親しまれています。
今年も全国から「ジャズ」のみならず・・・・
「フュージョン」「ロック」「ディスコミュージック」「ムードミュージック」「オーケストラ」「ソウル」「ブルース」「ロカビリー」「民族音楽」「レゲエ」「スカ」「ポップ」「ハードロック」
・・・・etc、実に多彩なジャンルのプロ・アマアーティストが仙台に集結しました。
実は開催当初は、もっとこじんまりとして「ジャズ」主体のイベントでした。
それが今や・・・日本国内最大の「巨大な野外コンサートイベント」にまで発展しました。
※ネットで調査したところ、今年は・・・
■参加バンド 756（演奏者数 5,100人！！）
■ステージ数 92ステージ（2日間述べ）
■観客数 84万人
・・・・という規模だったようです。あらためて壮大なイベントですよね！
ちなみに去年は、「雨のジャズフェス」でした。

そして今年は２日間とも「炎天下のジャズフェス」となりました！
二日間とも「３０℃オーバーの夏日」！
ジャズフェスでこんなに汗だくになったのは随分と久しぶりです。

観戦する方々は、各々「涼」をとりながら街の至るところで市民が音楽に酔いしれました♪
おっ！？”２１世紀版・和製（イケメン）ロバートプラント”を発見！
「移民の歌」は勾当台公園になかなかハマるなぁ♪

ジャズフェスが終わると、仙台は季節は移ろい本格的に秋になります。
（・・・・と締めくくりたかったのですが、どうやら今年は勝手が違うようです（苦笑）。この残暑は、いったいいつまで続くのだろうか・・・）
